Phish pays a little tribute to Father’s Day by bringing out all of their kids on stage to open up the second night at Alpine Valley. Sorry I didn’t catch it from the start. They were on stage for “Brother”

i got to agree with chican 99 encore glide, camel walk, ALUMNI BLUES OMG three breakouts ive seen every phish show at alpine except 96 and this year i was locked up all summer but alpine 99 one of my favorite shows its a toss up between that show and the 3rd night on the nye run in 03

lol this is kinda gay, i hate being at a live concert and its this light out. Makes for a good video but not fun if u are there. The lights aren’t as cool. I was at alpine ‘99 best encore ever!!!! i still have a pipe from Cincinnati ‘99 fall tour!

I cried a little at the show… At the end my friend who was taping brought the mic down and got to say a few words. I gave a happy fathers day shout out to my pops! He listened to it and started crying too! What a beautiful ending to a beautiful weekend!

I think people forget sometimes that the band members are just people when you break it down……it’s always nice for phans to see that they have more in common with the band than they thought.

Well a lot of people were all standing there thinking WTF is going on on stage? What is that thing they are they bringing on in front of Trey, why are there kids running around and crew members? Everyone was smoking before the show and during though, trust me

I’m just a semi-phan, and all I can say is ‘fuck yeah!’ Granted, I do like Brother. This was a great way to open and a great gag to go along with it. The band, the kids, and the audience got a moment they’ll never forget. Pretty cool.
If I didn’t know the song, I would probably think it was dumb. Songs like Brother are an acquired taste. Most people don’t get it.

They put on a great show and this was a fun little piece of a wonderful weekend. Antelope on Saturday was great and the Crosseyed was just a blast. Good to see the boys back at Alpine.

Great positive energy too. They look so proud on father’s day, great energy to start a show. Phish forever baby, wish I had been there!! Is the older Anastasio wearing a VH shirt? Kids are cool.

So awesome. What a moment….. Whoooo whoooo whoooo Somebody’s jumping in the tub with your bb bbb bbb bbrooooooother…. The best! I am so jealous they busted this out and I wasn’t there. Eliza Anastasio is a tiny little thing. This opener is gonna be in the Phish history books.
