I have been receiving messages that Yahoo is shutting down on November 17th due to reaching maximum membership of 2 million. The message says it is coming from the President of Yahoo Anna Rubenicia. Also included in the message is that I need to send it to all of my contacts so we can all continue getting Yahoo for free. I am concerned about this. Please let me know if this is a Phishing email.

I wondered when I saw a purple logo for the Yahoo item index why it was not red like all other Y! logos. Might it have been phishing? I asked but got no answer. Now it appears red. What’s going on?
